Director's Message Dear East Families, I hope you had a safe time to bond with your immediate family members over the winter break. We are ready to begin a new year with a focus on students reaching grade-level goals, preparing for state-mandated tests and doing the necessary steps to promote your child to the next grade. Student attendance is very important and it is essential for you to attend school every day if you are face to face and online at 8 a.m. am sharp. We need all students to be online as assigned during the day and to complete all assignments with your best effort. Students, please continue to reach out to your teachers if you do not understand your daily work. Parents can schedule an appointment to meet with our teachers virtually to address issues your child may be experiencing. My office is always open virtually and you may schedule a time to meet with me as well. Let’s get ready to “Ride the Wave” as we conquer the second-semester expectations.
